What Is THCA Flower?
THCA flower is hemp flower rich in THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid), the raw, acidic form of THC that the plant produces naturally. You will also see it sold as THCA hemp flower. On its own, THCA is not considered intoxicating. When you heat it by smoking or vaporizing, it converts to THC through a process called decarboxylation, which is why people use it the same way they would use any smokable cannabis flower.

How to Choose and Use It
Pick a format. Loose flower gives you full control: roll your own, pack a bowl or load a dry herb vaporizer. Pre-rolls skip the prep entirely. Moonrocks are dense, so break them up and start with a small pinch.
Remember that heat activates it. THCA needs heat to convert to THC. Smoking and vaporizing do that right away. That is why flower is meant to be smoked or vaporized, not eaten raw.
Think about strain type. Customers often describe sativas as uplifting and clear-headed, indicas as mellow and body-heavy, and hybrids as somewhere in between. Effects vary from person to person, so use these labels as a starting point. Go slow. Take one or two small puffs and wait several minutes before having more, especially if you are new to THC.

Does THCA flower get you high?
THCA itself is not considered intoxicating, but heating it converts it to THC. When smoked or vaporized, it can produce effects similar to traditional THC flower. Customers describe effects that differ by strain, and effects vary from person to person.
Will it show up on a drug test?
Yes. THCA converts to THC when heated, and these products can cause a positive drug test. If you are subject to drug testing, avoid them.
Is THCA the same as THC?
Not exactly. THCA is the acidic precursor to THC. It turns into THC when heated, which is why smoking or vaporizing THCA buds works much like smoking traditional cannabis.
How long does it take to feel the effects?
When smoked or vaporized, effects are usually felt within minutes, much sooner than with edibles. How long they last varies from person to person.
What is the difference between pre-rolls and moonrocks?
Pre-rolls are 1 gram joints, ready to light. Moonrocks come in a 7 gram size. In general, the term moonrocks describes buds coated in concentrate and dusted with kief, which makes them denser than regular flower, so start with a small amount.
Which format should I try first?
If you want the simplest start, pick a pre-roll: it is ready to light and there is nothing to measure. If you already have a grinder, pipe or dry herb vaporizer, loose flower lets you control how much you use each time.
